Week Eight Recovery Update

Its been a whole two months since I went under the knife. Lets see how I'm doing.

Super!

I got a few aches and pains but most all of it is gone. I said MOST. The biggest ache I have is the right arm now. Basically the same, no real significant change. Its still sleeping and numb. We should be able to drive more than an hour in two more weeks. We are still waiting on a Dr appointment in Dallas that should release us from the hospital. Enough of that.

Since we dont have much to do, we watch our arriving and departing neighbors. Yesterday we had an older couple pull in beside us and set up. We watched them. They have a 5th wheel and their setup time is much more than ours. Late in the day they went for a walk and he has a walker to assist him. This morning they left early. Dr appointment? Later in the pm a popup camper parked next to them. This morning a SUV pulls in and a young woman gets out. Our weather the next two days is not fit for a popup camper or tenting.

There is a car and another popup parked next to the covered shelter close by us. They have set up a tent. And a MH has pulled in and there is a 5th wheel "friend" following him. Do not see a woman with the MH but did see a woman with the 5th wheel. The two guys are setting at the picnic table. We are having a weather change and its 45 with winds from the ENE at 15 gusting to 38 per the weather bug. Tonight is expected to be 30 and COLD. tomorrow night is 23 to 27 and cold again. We here will be colder by 5 degrees. Wrap the pipes and hoses folks.

When I was in the hospital, we had some teen temps and we had and do have water leaks. Hopefully next week my arms will allow me to get the leaking water pipes fixed. More on this as it happens. I will include pics before and after. If we can fix it, will save us several hundred dollars.

We just had three MH's pull in. A Pace Arrow, Kountry Star and a Tradwinds. All our towing with tow bars. The KS driver backed into its tow car. OUCH! They are with the 5th wheel. The PA pulled on down and parked. The TW followed and park by them. That make's 13 now in our loop. The TW has a 2 wheeler on the back.

Since we are furnishing wifi here, I'll check to see if we have guests on the signal. So far there is our KS neighbors only, four puters total. All are parked and working on jacks down and slides out. And we have another RV to arrive. They have a HI-LO with pickup. They are friends with our neighbors in the 5th wheel.
