We have a new neighbor today. The owners of the "park model" looked at that site and the one to the right before making a decision. They measured several times. Then tihs morning in comes the truck and the trailer.

The lower picture is just after arrival. The electrician is also on site and helping with the install. The first of the concrete blocks for support are on the ground and more will be needed.




This scene drew a crowd all day. People came looked and some stayed.


I'll look at some park models that are for sale to see just what they cost. I will add that this site is "leased land". This is not deeded lot. The deeded lots are behind this unit or in the "North" area.

The yearly lease will go for about $2300 per year for a one year lease. For all that is offered here, thats a bargan. Just the month of Janurary it will cost for this site $500. For December, the rate is $300. February and March are in the $500 range.



I would buy one of the deeded lots for the $23,900 and own the land under me.

We have such nice weather here that I can only re-state as to how nice it is. Last night and this morning it did blow. It calmed down some this afternoon and at 2 pm.... I got back and we had burgers for lunch and at 4:30 pm it was billard time. While I was busy, DW went to the exercise room and spent time there. She is busy doing her thing too. Today the temp's were 68 this morning, 84 this afternoon, 75 now and all with slear skies.

But all this is going to change. Tonight its 58 with 30% chance of rain, 65 tomorrow with a 50 over night with more rain. Tuesday appears to be the next nice day. Till then, its cooler and wetter. Wetter is not colder or cold as in temps in the 30-40's. Its really nice.

I have mailed my stuff today. We men are just slow. It was a practice day at the driving range and then it was nine holes. I played much better with the practice. I did leave 4 birdies on the course though. At least I got close enough to go for it. More practice is in store. I need to work on the pitching and long shots. These are the difference in a good score and a bad one. Today was boggy golf with 4 par's.

While I did that, DW went to the fitness center and signed up for stained glass classes. There is the cards, dominoes, bingo, dancing, line dancing, saturday night dancing and shuffle board, pool, karake at the club house, water pool exercises, the pool itself, hot tub, bean bag baseball, bean bag toss, crochette, walking, bicycling, wifi, cable tv, and I'm sure more stuff. That made me tired.

Tomorrow is more golf practice and maybe some golf. I need a break in the week and on sunday. I really would like to get enough practice to get my score card into the low 80's.

We rested and goofed off sunday. We went to church at 10 am, got an angel off the tree and went to wally world and got him, 16 yo male, a skaet board for $10 or under and visited with our neighbor

Linda and her husband are work campers here and have a super job. We asked questions and got answers on the work camping. They are happy here. We will look into this for next year.

We played more pool and went to see more of the facilities. We will have to learn to play schuffle board. There is lots of this availible. Its so nice to be able to go and do and not have to work. Plan ahead and you can do this too.

We went park looking again today. We saw maybe a dozen places and for the money, we do have the better. There is cheaper and they have cheaper facilities. For around the $500 mark you can have no wifi, all dirt, tiny concrete landing or none at all, grass in need of mowing LAST week, pay for the water, trash pickup as well as the electricity.

We have a full concrete parking with full concrete patio, grass that is cut weekly, trash pick up at the door twice a week, wifi, cable tv, asphalt drives with curbing, no awning to rv spaces and well kept facilities to play in. The golf is a golf cart away at half price, $16. We went to one park and she said she was cheaper. Yep she was, no wifi, pay for the water and trash pick up, all dirt with no patio except your carpet. They had the same facilities we have just less of it. And for golf, you have to come here to our place. We have not found the same or even close at any price.

Temp: 64 this morning, 77 this afternoon, 67 now and 65 for the overnight. No wonder I played nine holes this afternoon.
