Its Raining Cats, Dogs and Buckets full

Its Sunday, March 26 and here is the latest water level for Lake benbrook, 689.20. This is at 7:30 pm local time.

It started late friday and will quit sometime tomorrow. The city of Dallas has a rain gauge somewhere and it received something like 7"+ today. Does not count what it received since friday. There is flooding from high water in the metroplex. And some of the flooding is not attributed to streams but just runoff. Flooded streets, business, and one lake has raised their flood gates to let water out to make room for the water coming in. Dont know what our lake looks like but its at 687.15 feet as of 7 pm tonight, 0000 GMT. Look back at previous posts for earlier lake levels. This is the sever drought breaking rain we have needed. So, somebody out there, PLEASE STOP praying for rain. We got enough.

My brother called today and said that our dad is looking frail and has some shaking. Dad is 87 and will be 88 in late June. He has mild dementia and its getting worse as time goes by. Our plans are still to head west after 3-28. We do have to make a stop at the Ford house and see about the rolling "knock" we have on the left rear tire area. After that we are planning on having coach body repair. Get the house back to looking like new again.

I'm getting better daily and will be first rate by June. Then I can begin to play golf again. Of course, if my DW will give me permission.
