Status of the RV Repair.

We went by the shop and the RV is inside now. He was working on the rear doing some more sanding. Hopefully this pm its got some paint on it. We were told that the white paint on the back would be first and then the blue/green was next. We will go by tomorrow to see what the ststus is and when we get it back. Ordered parts have not arrived as far as he knew. We are replacing the head light housing and a side marker light which is missing. The RV should like great soon.

We placed the cat with the vet for shots, trim his claws, check up and to be boarded for two days. Tomorrow will be two days so we need to know the RV status. Once we get this information, I will let you know.

Johnson's Fiberglass Boat Repair

This is the place we are using for our fiberglass repair. They do boats and RV's also. As you can see, there are a few here. And the finished work they do is custom compared to the factory work, as it should be. The paint is as near a perfect match as is possible. I expect my RV to look like new if not better. Of course it wont as we are not having the whole thing painted. But that they are doing will look better than new.

When we are finished, the pictures will tell the story better than words, the ole saying is "a picture is worth a thousand words". The final pictures are days away yet so stay here for more as this saga unfolds. Bring your sweety, popcorn and soft drink and a comfy chair.

The address is 10300 South I35W, Fort Worth, TX. Or exit south bound I35W at Risinger and go past Camping World about 200 yards and its on the right. Pull in and tell them that Richard n Shirley sent ya.

Todays RV Repair Status

This is Mondays update. The drivers side, or left side, was worked on. The guy did about as much mechanical sanding as he could then had to resort to time consuming hand sanding. And he still is not done. Its starting to look like new again. Add paint and its new again.

This side has cost $2559.52 so far with my deductable. The key word of the day to come is back up ONLY with eyes back there and it will be the walking, talking, 2-legged kind. Anything less is throwing money out the window.
