Our first day away from the RV body shop

We are parked in space 9 which is a pull thru. There are not many but a few of them And when you come here, get space 1 or 2 as they are full hookups. these were the old camp host spots. They phone lines dont work but you got a sewer connection. We were here before we went to get the body repair and DW washed the clothes. We paid $2.00 for the sewer connection, two days, and saved $5.50 by doing our own laundry. The space 1 is shorter than 2. A 40 ft DP is in it now. A long 5th wheel is in 2.

We spent this am cleaning the inside of the RV. We had 17 days of fiberglass dust and a West Texas dust storm to clean up. When Johnsons Fiberglass Boat Repair finished with us, we got a hand washing. We did shine! Took 20 minitues down the wet road to fix that. Now it needs a new wash.

We failed our state inspection because our emergency brake did not hold the coach when in drive. I had this adjusted at the Ford dealership last Oct 25, 2005 which was 233 miles ago. We will be at their front door monday am to get this fixed and an inspection sticker. We went to Southwest Ford in Weatherford, TX and we will let you know the resuts of this later.

In the mean time, we will be going down US180 to Hobbs, NM. The driver has not driven in seven months and all are forwarned to be carefull. Its our time to travel. At $3.00 per gallon, just how far can you go on that.
