Monday and a New Campground

Take a close look at this pic. What do you see here? Yep, just what we saw as it happened.

That is a woman living in a small TT by us. Shirley saw her approach the animal and got her binoculars while I ran for the camera. She is feeding it.

"IT" is a wild coyote! By its self it is afraid of her. But, get several together, they may not be.

Just how smart is this?

A back, side view of our new space with a covered table. The entrance is a bit small. There is no place to park the car except in the space as shown.

It was a 19 mile trip to get here and as the crow flies, it can't be more than a mile. Unless the RV can float, its a 19 mile trip.

There it is or was, the last place we parked before we moved.

It is a dry, desert high country as you can see. As you can see it doesn't rain here very much.

A front view of our space. Its all gravel as well as the roads. The native grasses are allowed to grow in the space. One space has the grasses around the table making it unusable. The electric boxes are oddly placed. Some are at the front of the entry, some at the mid poit (like ours) and some at the back. We have a 30 foot cord and we are nearly to the front of our space to connect to the box. The water is as bad if not worse. We connected with a 50 foot hose, probably need 40 feet, and had to walk in the grasses to get there. We have 25 and 50 foot hoses we carry and use when necessary. Most places we camp, we use our 10 foot and the 5 foot on the standup filter. I dont have more electric cord. This is the only second time that we have needed more than 30 foot. These posts were fence post at one time.

Who ever designed this place knew nothing about hook ups for RV's. With the budget cuts over the years, here is the evidence of what a lack of money will do. The place could use some serious care and maintance.

Temp: 48 this morning, 74 now with a forecast high of 78 with pc cloudy skies, scattered rain.
