Wednesday

Here we are at Benbrook Lake.

Last year we were here to see the Dr about my angina. This year we are here for our yearly checkup and to get the RV ready to go for another year. Our last post listed the work we had done at the Ford dealer. On the 25th, we will go to Anceria in Alverado for somr repairs. We have two rear jacks that leak, the bedroom slide awning cover to replace and the right side windshield to repair the gap to the moulding. After that its off to south Texas and a winter spot or spots.

We are talking about the car and dolly, or a new car and tow (we have a tow bar), jobs and where, and next years travel. I have our monthly budget for 05 and so far for 06 listed wrong on a prior post. For 05 with everything including insurance, repairs, etc, we averged about $2600.00 per month. For 06 so far, we average about $2100.00 per month. This includes everything. And you that follow us know we don't spend lots on camping or gas. A tank a month if possible and $11.00 a night is the max so far this year. We have spent 4 nights in Wal mart for the year.

The above is space 9 from last year. we are in space 1 now with fuh. $11.00 per night is all. No frills and no hot tubs. Its a COE park.

Comments:
Hope your check-ups turn out positive. I can't believe you keep such close tabs on your spending. I'm impressed. We are leaving Ogden Sunday and head for Cedar City, UT then to Stanton, AZ by Oct. 1. We were hoping to see you in AZ this winter, but it looks as if you are spending the winter in South Texas. Hope you travel safely and have a great time. Do keep in touch

Hey Richard...check our blog...

Hope your time this year is better than last year...Isn'this when you had to have surgery?

HAPPY TRAILS TO YA!!!

well jean, when your income is as low as ours, we have to keep up with the pennies cause there aern't many dollars. besides, its not what you make, its all in how you spend it. we enjoy every penny we spend.

and we still haven't decided what we are going to do.
