Sunday

We made it over yesterday and went to Lake Lavon to see the rv campground. We had 48.5 miles on the trip odometer when we left and we have 217.4 total miles traveled. Seems like I just filled the suv up friday. Anyway, we went about 17 miles looking for the road to the campground. Was a long trip from our location. His in-laws live at central-west arlington and her in-laws live in south east arlington. Both of them were home 30 minitues before us.

But, we had a good time at the party and got to tour the new house. A whopping 3750 sf of living area on two floors with 3 car garage. Very nice house. Both of them are very proud of their new abode. Now they need to buy more furniture.

The COE we went to see was closed with construction. The directions in the "Camping with the COE" are not correct. I will post the correction on the yahoo group and escapees forun. The gate was closed and locked. We went looking for what else was there and found the day use areas. The only other campground, Lavonia Park, open was the one on the east side close to Lavon, TX. It was still open till the other is finished with the construction. The hosts didn't know if it would be closed or not. I will post on the same group info on the campground. The park has 11 FUH.

We stopped by the dealer to get the bra for the suv, exchange a part for the rack on top and tags. One out of three is not bad. The bra was there, the part to exchange was not there (will have to order a complete kit to get the part I need) and the tags were not there. See, not bad!

Today I put on the bra. Its worth the money to have it done. The instructions are not to specific as to where to mount the clips. But, it can be figured out by putting the bra on and seeing what goes where. Took me about an hour with help from DW. The bar will "hopefully" keep the front free from rock dings. For those dings that we do get, there is touchup paint on board.
