Tuesday and The Mowers Have Been Here

Do you remember when we were here last time how tall the grass and weeds were? Well, not any more. The mowers have been here. There were two tractors with w----i----d----e brush hogs, two zero turn mowers and two guys with string trimmers. In a day the whole campground was done. its not to pretty buts its cut.

Our weather report for tomorrow is rain. Today its getting cloudy. We hope it rains plenty as this area is in dire need of rain.

EDIT: the rain came, and it rained but not here. We got maybe a 1/2". To the south it rained 2"-4" but not in this watershed. Another day.

Hey guys...looks like you have a nice place to stay while waiting for Shirley's mom to get better...It is so nice that you were there when she took sick!!! No hurry up trip to get there...

We are still in the PNW...we will move to our new spot at the Hammond, KOA next Wednesday...and stay there for the rest of the time that we are up here. Not as nice a view but we are a little better protected from the wind gusts and the rain...we haven't had much of that yet but they promise that it WILL come!!! and I believe them... It has been pretty dry up here for almost a year...so they are praying for rain...in fact they had much less rain here in Astoria, than we had in Sacramento this last rainy season. Now that is unheard of...things are a bit dryer up here as a result...

Well I will be chatting with you guys again soon...hopeing Shirley's mom is well soon,

Mike and Charlie
