Its a cool, calm day

The winds are finally over, the front has gone thru. We had three LONG days of 20-30 with gusts to 35 yesterday. We are on the tail of the storm dumping snow on Denver. Its finally moving east. We have loudy skies, 55 for the low, 56 now 68 for the high and 20% chance of rain with 5-10 winds.

These trees are close by and the wind effect is very much shown

I did go to the driving range this morning about 10 and it was cool. There were people in shorts and tees to wind suits and coats today. The shorts people were cold from their body language. Too cool yet to play, maybe later on today. It was also not crowded.

Look at the sand in the air. This is on US83 west near Mission. We went looking at the golf courses and on our way took this pic.

Comments:
We had some of that wind the mid-week for a few days...

Even though it is nicer weather here than we were experiencing nth the Beautiful PNW...it has been on the very Chilly side...

Lots of sun but it has been down in the lower 30s and upper 20's before day-break and not any higher than the very low 50s in the warmest part of the day. Then the wind...that made it feel atleast 10 degrees colder...

Clouds should come in today and maybe a shower tomorrow in the foothills...but then back to nice weather...we are only 68% of normal for rain this year...not good...but there are still rainy months ahead...

Hope you guys enjoy your New Year's Eve and have a Happy, blessed, fun and enjoyable New Year...

Sorry we aren't going to meet you at "Q" but I think we would love to stay at a place like you are staying at a little lomger too. And I'm sure we'll meet down the road a piece...this year (2007), hopefully!

After all your blog and your travels are what sealed our fate for our retirement ... and what a lovely fate it has been so far!!!

Where will you guys be in the last part of March and the first part of April??? We will be on the move and maybe we will run into you "accidentally", on purpose!!!

Any way, again I say

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
